We all need a little shot of courage in the arm sometimes, so this is mine for you :) I'm currently 26; I've estimated (roughly) that I have completed 704 pieces of art during my life so far (mostly traditional art pieces in colored pencil, acrylic, and watercolor; some were my earliest comic book pages lol). 361 of those pieces I completed prior to 2013, which is when I seriously began to consider becoming a professional artist. Since 2013 I have completed approximately 343 gallery pieces (I'm not counting sketches and photos :P). Of those 343 pieces about 225 were comic book pages, not all of them past the inking stage! Of the remaining 118 independent gallery pieces, only 18 currently sit in a folder marked "portfolio" on my computer. Of those 18 pieces, I'm only satisfied with 7 of them; and of those 225 comic book pages I'm happy with less than 10 of them lol So! Out of 704 pieces, I only consider 17 of them my best :) People have been asking me a lot lately "how did you learn
